Walker Landscaping was founded by owner and operator Adam Walker. Adam has over 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry. He first got his hands dirty at the age of 11 mowing lawns, raking leaves, and shoveling sidewalks/driveways. At age 15, he started working as a landscaper in the summers. After he graduated high school landscaping work become his full time occupation.
Over the years of working as a landscaping crew member something started to bother him; Adam noticed the owners of most landscaping companies just cared about getting as much money as possible from every job. In order to get paid and move on as quickly as possible they would lie or do a poor job. In Adam’s mind this was a poor business strategy, and worse – dishonest.
Adam saved his money and started working as a one-man landscaper during the weekends. He put his focus on giving his customers maximum value. He figured if he could give them the most for their money, they would hire him the next time they needed some work. As an added bonus, he felt better about what he was doing – living and working with honesty and responsibility.
Eventually Adam earned a reputation, he was getting enough referrals to break off and start his own landscaping company. In 2010 Walker Landscaping was born.
As a part of Adam’s commitment to give his customers the most value possible, Adam went to school and earned his A.A.S. degree in horticulture and landscaping design. He had years of experience, but knew there was much more to learn. Adam prides himself on his continued education.
Adam has worked hard to build a team that has his values and approach to landscaping. He never outsources his work and is dedicated to only working with people of the highest integrity.
